With his experience as an entrepreneur and investor, Christopher brings to Foundum the long-term vision and strategy. Currently he is the founding Partner of ACTIVE Venture Partners, the founder & chairman of the Venturepreneurs' Organisation, advisor and founding member of Gild International Private Business Club and founder and chairman of Barcelona Entrepreneurship City Commission.

In the past, Christopher has co-founded several ventures in the tech industry such as AutoScout24 Spain, Boat24, VCmore, and has also taken an active role in several entrepreneurial associations like EO Europe & Africa, initiated the Global Entrepreneurs Week in Spain and created the vision for the Barcelona Entrepreneurship City Commission.

Christopher’s entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship is the most powerful concept to drive positive change and make the world a better place!

Daniela founded the startup, alongside with Christopher, taking the active role of CEO and leading the various strategic decisions around the website. She has extensive experience in the Internet sector especially around Social Media and Online Communities.

Prior to her Foundum adventure she was part of the founding team of the Start-Up Linqia, a marketplace for social networks. She has been moderating the Global Business Women Group on XING and is active ambassador of the expat community Internations.

Daniela’s entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship provides you with freedom and gives the opportunity to contribute your own sandcorn to make this world a better place.

David is responsible for the publication of content and several Marketing activities such as Social Media, Newsletter & Blogs. In addition, his duties include the management of relationships within our community. He’s also taking care of business analysis & research issues within Foundum. He is passionate about Entrepreneurship, Startups, New Technologies. Tennis, Football & Travelling. David graduated from London Metropolitan University.

David is from Germany and lived between Düsseldorf, Cape Town, London & Barcelona. He is passionate about everything, which is related to taking things from dream to a reality.

David’s Entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship creates new opportunities & social welfare to the world.

Ladislav is a passionate developer from the Czech Republic. He is responsible for developing the website and translating ideas and words into a technical reality. As a team leader, he is one of the rare examples of managers who can lead by example and encourage people in the team to become better professionals.

In the past, he has been working as a web developer in companies like ISSA Czech, Skvely.CZ (which he also co-founded), Visrez – Webmedia, Ticketsolve.com and Xing. He loves reading and constantly learning and plays lots of squash.

Ladislav’s entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship is freedom and possibility to learn super fast by helping others.

Laurent is in charge of User Experience at Foundum. This consists of making sure the website is easy for the end user to use and understand, and making sure the Foundum website matches the user goals. Laurent therefore involves the end user all along the creative process by surveying, analysing, comparing, asking, testing and testing again.

Laurent has been working in the web environment for sixteen years, and has been an Information Architect for nine. Over the years his unique vision and abilities have led him to work for numerous large global projects (e.g. British Gas, Lexus, the Olympic Games), as well as for smaller digital advertising campaigns (e.g. Marks & Spencer, Shell). He has also worked on an array of projects for mobile platforms.

Laurent's entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship allows me to make my life what I want it to be.

Scott is in charge of business development at Foundum. His role is to pursue strategic partnerships and foster relationships that will increase ecosystem value. He enjoys meeting new people in each ecosystem and collaborating with other professionals in pursuit of driving innovation forward.

Originally from Boston, Scott has more than 6 years of experience in account management and business development in Boulder, CO and San Diego, CA. Prior to moving to Barcelona for his MBA, Scott founded a financial services company to help clients purchase a new home and improve their personal finances.

Scott’s entrepreneurial thought: Good things come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.

Zdenko is another Czech example of a passionate and dedicated developer who is ensuring the platform's infrastructure and security. He completes our developer team with great analytical skills and a pragmatic view.

Zdenko has several years of experience within the field of web technologies. In the past he has been working on different projects such as web auction portals, real estate projects and events managment systems like Visrez in Ireland. He is becoming a ukulele expert and also enjoys squash.

Zdenko’s entrepreneurial thought: Entrepreneurship is more options for my life and better ways to reach my aims. Foundum is one way of doing so.
